Una graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast with an Honours degree in Law and Politics, having spent one year studying in America under the Business Education Initiative.
Una gained admission to the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2007. After qualification Una travelled to Australia and New Zealand. There she worked in prestigious law firms such as Norton Rose in Sydney. Upon returning home / to this jurisdiction Una focused on Family and Matrimonial Law.
Una is now head of the Matrimonial Department in Hunt Solicitors and specialises in separation and divorce cases as well as financial settlements and civil partnerships. She has experience in all Domestic Violence proceedings and Children Order matters both public and private law. Una became an accredited member of the Children’s Order Panel in June 2012, a select group of legal advisors who are approved to represent children in specified proceedings.
