We are pleased to inform you that Una Conway, head of family law at Hunt Solicitors, has recently been appointed to the Guardian Panel.
Unfortunately in modern day life, there are times when Social Services may wish to place a child into care. This could be for a number of complex reasons, such as difficulties or dangers at home, and which will all have culminated with Social Services deciding that the best course of action is for the child is to be removed for their own well being and safety.
This is obviously a serious undertaking and not one which is taken lightly. The Courts will therefore insist that a Guardian and a solicitor is appointed to help them to come to a decision. The Guardian’s responsibility is to only represent the interests of the child.
We would like to wish Una well with this notable appointment.
